Trump: What His Presidency Would Mean for the UK and the Rest of the World.
On Wednesday, March 5th, the Audere Group hosted 36 clients and guests for an enlightening dinner and discussion titled “Trump: What His Presidency Would Mean for the UK and the Rest of the World.”
The evening was moderated by Sir Malcolm Rifkind, Chairman of the Audere Group, with Lord Kim Darroch as the featured speaker. A former British diplomat, Lord Darroch served as the UK Ambassador to the United States from 2016 to 2019 during President Trump’s first term. Held under the Chatham House Rule, the discussion provided first hand insights into Trump’s personality, foreign policy approach, and personal preferences—details that did not go unnoticed by the guests in attendance.
Amid a week of heightened tensions between Trump and world leaders, the Audere Group was honoured to facilitate a timely and delicate conversation. The depth of experience shared by Lord Darroch and Sir Malcolm Rifkind left a lasting impression on all in the room, sparking valuable discussion on the challenges and opportunities a second Trump presidency might bring.
